“A Salute to Spectrum News 13's Everyday Heroes” is Spectrum News 13’s way of saying thank you to everyone who donates their time, their talent, their gifts, and their all, giving back to our neighbors in need.

This past year, we featured heroes from across our nine-county viewing area, demonstrating why Central Florida is such a great place to live and to serve.  At Spectrum Networks and Spectrum News 13, we’re proud to honor YOU and share YOUR stories.

During this half-hour special, we surprise multiple people during back-to-back virtual calls with trophies, commemorating them as heroes.  We’re honoring seven elite heroes from 2021 in seven categories.  These heroes showcase what a true Everyday Hero is... someone who goes above and beyond.  They don’t do it for the recognition.  They do it because it's the right thing to do.
