UMATILLA, Fla. — The search continues for a suspected arsonist responsible for several fires around the Umatilla area.

It's been more than week with no arrests.

Investigators say there have been several intentionally set fires.

Surveillance video inside a Sunoco station on State Road 19 shows a person walking in and setting a fire at the counter.

"It's terrible. Hopefully he will get caught before he hurts somebody," resident Aaron Carroll said Friday.

At least four properties and two businesses have been hit, investigators say. Last week, two cars were set on fire at a Lake County deputy's home.

"We have been locking the gate to try to keep them off our property," resident Gary Barrow said.

It's very concerning for Terry Taylor, who runs a peanut business.

"It's crazy. I just worry about my family. You never know when he's going to show up. If he's this close to my house, he could come to my house and burn my car or trailer or anything," Taylor said.

If you have any information, you're urged to call the Lake County Sheriff's Office at 352-343-2101 or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
