ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Two people suspected of multiple vehicle break-ins, including an unmarked Orange County Sheriff's Office vehicle, have been caught, according to authorities.

At around 5:30 a.m., Maitland Police Department officers were called for several vehicle break-ins, including an unmarked law enforcement vehicle, at Dwell Apartments at 8700 Maitland Summit Blvd. in Orlando.

According to Maitland police, there are no indications that anything was taken from the law enforcement vehicle.

" … however, we can confirm no firearms were taken from the vehicle. Both suspects have been apprehended by the Maitland Police Department," the Orange County Sheriff's Office also confirmed in a news release.

According to the Maitland Police Department, one of the suspects allegedly carjacked someone at the apartment complex and then crashed the car.

That man fled on foot and was caught at the RDV Sportspex. Spectrum News 13 spotted a man being placed into a patrol car at the sports complex.

No injuries have been reported.

Authorities have not stated if this was linked to the mass vehicle break-in at multiple parking lots in Orlando.
