ORLANDO, Fla. – With Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration set to begin in just a few weeks, more decorations have appeared at Magic Kingdom.

A new sign with the tagline “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” has been added outside the park entrance, near the train station.

The sign, which features the “EARidescent” color scheme of pastel blue, purple and pink, also has a large golden “50” in the center.

Inside the park, the Citizen clock on Main Street U.S.A. has received a makeover. The clock now sports a golden look. And two banners have been added to the clock, marking it as the “official timepiece” of the 50th anniversary celebration.

Last month, Disney added 50th celebration banners outside Magic Kingdom as well as at the Transportation and Ticket Center.

Cinderella Castle also has a new look for the celebration. It underwent months of renovations from a new paint job to jewels, ribbons and other decorations on the outside.

Disney Word will kick off its 50th anniversary celebration Oct. 1. The celebration is set to last 18 months.
