Official Stoneman Douglas High GoFundMe pages

Several fake GoFundMe accounts were created in the wake of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High shooting. Orlando Big Band fundraiser

The Orlando Big Band is performing at the Bob Carr Theater in downtown Orlando on Saturday, Oct. 21. The benefit event will help raise money for the American Cancer Society and raise awareness for National Cancer Month. Register with FEMA as soon as possible. If you preregistered with FEMA, you do not have to apply again. If you have phone and/or internet access, you may register online at DisasterAssistance.gov, or on the FEMA Mobile App or by calling 800-621-3362 (FEMA).

Applicants who use 711 or Video Relay Service may also call 800-621-3362. People who are deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech disability and use a TTY may call 800-462-7585. The numbers are open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET, seven days a week. Multilingual operators are available.

Heart of Florida United Way Hurricane Relief Fund

Central Floridians in need of services can call United Way's Information & Assistance Helpline at 211 to speak with a crisis specialist. The 211 line is available and staffed 24/7. Residents can also text their zip code to 898211 to connect via text message.
