Skies will turn mostly clear overnight and the lighter winds will allow temperatures to plummet to their lowest levels of the winter season for Central Florida.

Freeze warnings have been issued for late Sunday into Monday morning for Marion, inland Volusia, Lake and Sumter counties. These spots will likely see temperatures fall to 32 degrees or below.

Frost advisories are in effect for coastal Flagler, coastal Volusia, Brevard, Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties through 8 a.m. Monday. This is where temperatures will fall into the mid and upper 30s.

You should protect any tender vegetation before heading to bed and make sure pets have the necessary protection from the cold too.

Temperatures will gradually recover to the upper 50s and low 60s by Monday afternoon, but keep in mind that these daytime highs will continue to run 10 to 13 degrees cooler than average.

Temperatures will not be as cold for Tuesday morning, with lows back in the 40s by the middle of the week.
