ORLANDO, Fla. — It was a warm Saturday across Central Florida, and the mild weather will continue into the overnight. A few clouds will remain in place, with areas of patchy fog develop towards daybreak. Overnight lows will only be in the low to mid 60s.

Sunday will feature even more warmth. We will again see partly cloudy skies during the day with dry conditions. Highs for Sunday will be in the low 80s.

For the Daytona 500, expect partly cloudy skies and afternoon temps in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Boaters will again have good conditions Sunday, with seas 2-3 feet and a light southerly breeze. Surfers will find poor-to-fair conditions to close the weekend, with a small east-southeasterly swell.

The rip current threat will be moderate again Sunday, with Atlantic water temps in the 50s and low 60s.

The warmth continues as we move into President’s Day. More moisture will also push into the area, resulting in a few isolated showers. Highs for Monday will be in the low 80s.

The slight rain chances continue into the middle of next week. Expect a blend of sun and clouds Tuesday and Wednesday with isolated PM showers. Temps both days will be in the low to mid 80s.

We’ll close next week with even more warmth across the area. Highs for Thursday and Friday will be in the mid 80s, with upper 80s possible in inland areas. The rain chances will also persist on Thursday.

Right now, next weekend looks warm with a few isolated showers.
