ORLANDO, Fla. — "Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind," an indoor roller coaster at Epcot, officially opens to the public next month, and Marvel has recruited actor Terry Crews for a role in the new attraction.

What You Need To Know

Crews will star as Centurion Tal Marik, a member of the Nova Corps and commander of the Starcharter. The character is also described as being a close advisor to Nova Prime, played in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” films by Glenn Close, who is reprising her role for the attraction.

On Monday, Disney shared a behind-the-scene look at Crews shooting scenes for Cosmic Rewind on social media.

“Marik must call on the Guardians because it’s ‘Save the Galaxy Time'…again!” read the caption on the tweet.

Marvel previously revealed that the villain of the attraction will be Eson, a Celestial.

The attraction will also feature a playlist of six songs: “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire, “Disco Inferno” by The Trammps, “Conga” by Gloria Estefan, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears, “I Ran” by A Flock of Seagulls, and “One Way or Another” by Blondie.

Cosmic Rewind will be one of the longest indoor roller coasters in the world when it opens. It will also be the first Disney coaster with a reverse launch.

Before boarding the ride, visitors will learn about the people of Xandar, who have set up the Wonder of Xandar pavilion. They will then be recruited by the Guardians to help save the galaxy.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opens May 27.
