ORLANDO, Fla. — Disney World announced Thursday that several of its backstage tours will return early next year.

What You Need To Know

  •  More behind-the-scenes returning to Disney World in 2022

  • The tours will be available at Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom

  • Tours vary in price and can be booked online

The experiences, which were put on hold last year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, will resume starting Feb. 6, according to a post on the official Disney Parks Blog.

The tours, which are part of Disney’s Enchanting Extras Collection, include behind-the-scenes access to different aspects at the parks.

At Magic Kingdom, guests will be able to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour, a five-hour walking tour that includes access to the parks underground “utilidor” service tunnels. The price for the tour starts at $114 per person.

Tours offered at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will also return, including Caring for Giants, The Wild Africa Trek, Up Close with Rhinos, and Savor the Savanna. Prices for these tours range from $35 per person for Caring for Elephants to $199 per person for Wild Africa Trek.

The tours require valid park admission and reservations.

Advance bookings for the tours are recommended and can be made at disneyworld.com or in the My Disney Experience app.
