BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Tourism is booming on the Space Coast, and now there's a one-stop shop in Cocoa Beach for things to do.

The Space Coast Office of Tourism just opened it's new visitor information center at the corner of State Road A1A and West Cocoa Beach Causeway, where 20,000 vehicles pass by daily.

It's chock full of brochures from local businesses like restaurants, shops, attractions tours, cruises and of course, rocket launches.

"(Visitors) are always looking for what to do, where to go," said Space Coast Office of Tourism Executive Director Peter Cranis. "And the whole mission of having this place is to help tourists, but also help them do more, stay longer."

Inside the center there's also a large mural set up as a photo backdrop. The office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Officials say they hope the new center will help the community build on a record $23 million in tourist development tax that was collected in 2022.
