ORLANDO, Fla.  It’s already a chilly evening across the area and temperatures will continue to tumble overnight. 

Expect overnight lows in the mid to upper 30s across the majority of the area. A Freeze Warning continues for Marion County, where a freeze is possible in the Ocala area.

We’ll keep the crisp weather for MLK Day on Monday. Expect plenty of sunshine all day, but highs will struggle to climb into the upper 50s and low 60s.

Warmer weather is on the way for Tuesday. Winds will begin to shift out of the east, bringing warmer air to the area. Highs for Tuesday will be in the low 70s.

Our next storm system arrives late Wednesday into Wednesday night. Clouds will increase as the day progresses, with showers possible during the evening and overnight. Highs for Wednesday will be in the upper 70s with breezy conditions.

The system moves through the area on Thursday, bringing the area showers and a few storms. Highs will be in the low 70s with strong winds.

Another blast of cool air works in for Friday and the weekend, with temps only in the 50s and low 60s. Rain chances may also return by next Sunday.

BEACH AND SURF FORECAST

A Small Craft Caution will likely go into effect for the holiday, with seas 3-4 feet and northerly winds. Surfers will have poor conditions, with a building northerly windswell. The rip current threat will be low for Monday.
