ST. CLOUD, Fla. — One family is hoping for a Christmas miracle this season as the St. Cloud community is coming together to spread a little holiday magic for one young boy.

Rhabdomyosarcoma, a soft-tissue cancer, has forever changed Nathaniel Kimbro's life.

"He doesn't get to go out and play, he doesn't get to ride his bike," explained his mother, Samantha Ciraldo. "He doesn't get to be a kid. He didn't get to do that."

Ciraldo is appreciative she gets to celebrate Christmas with her four kids.

"I am thankful that the whole community is coming together," she said, to make Christmas happen early, filled with Santa, food and goodies.

Kaydynce Redman, Nate's close friend, made this happen with the help of her mom.

"It's special for me, because I know Nate will be able to celebrate Christmas," Kaydynce said. "And I know that he will be able to open up all his presents and have fun."

Angie Redman, the owner of the Venue At Cobblestone who is behind the Christmas dinner for Nate, said if it were not for Pink Heals, a nonprofit, they would have never known about him.

"He's taught me to be stronger, he's taught her that being stronger is the only way you can be," Redman said. "And he is just an amazing little boy."

Last week, Nate's family found out his blood counts were good enough to start a new trial medication. Nate's mom thinks all of the community's love and support may have something to do with this.

"I believe that miracles happen every day. And I believe that a miracle is happening in him right now. Because the support, the positive thinking, the never giving up," Ciraldo added. "Just keeping everything positive around him."

Donations for Nate and his three other siblings are being accepted. Friends put together this wish list for the family:
