The driver involved in a traffic fatality that killed a skateboarder in February has turned herself in.

The South Daytona Police Department has received the toxicology report for the blood results of Jody Ann Arcuri, and police are saying that Arcuri turned herself in yesterday after the post-crash blood work returned showing she was over the legal limit for alcohol, and that multiple drugs were detected in her system.

Those results are as follows:

  • Blood Alcohol Unlawful level of .092
  • Cocaine
  • Benzoylecgonine
  • Methamphetamine
  • Diazepam
  • Nordiazepam

With those results, SDPD obtained an arrest warrant for Arcuri for DUI/ Manslaughter with a $50,000.00 bond.

Arcuri was the sole occupant of the vehicle that crashed and killed Stephen Wilson, 22, while on his skateboard.

Officers were unable to locate Arcuri yesterday after the warrant was issued, but she later turned herself into the Volusia County Branch Jail.

Following the crash, police officers found narcotics in her car including a variety of pills, small amounts of powder cocaine, marijuana, synthetic marijuana and four glass smoking pipes that tested positive for cocaine and Arcuri was later arrested and charged with seven narcotics counts.

She was free on bond on those charges, with other potential charges pending on the results of her blood work.
