ORLANDO, FLA -- Ty Poorman doesn't say much. When he does, the quarterback is taken seriously.

"I'm not scared to throw the deep ball to anyone," Poorman said last season. "I'm 100% confident if I throw a ball my receivers will go get it."

One of his targets says it's not always perfection.

"Sometimes he makes me work for it a little bit more," says twin brother Cole. "He can throw it. He's usually dead on the money."

"At receiver he's probably got the best hands," Ty says. "He's most reliable."

With Ty under center and Cole switching between running back and receiver, the dynamic combination helped Masters Academy cash in a state championship this past season.

They're insync on the football field. Off it, they couldn't be more opposite.

"Definitely he's the funny one," Ty jokes. "I'm always in the shadow because I guess people like him more."

"He's more conservative and quiet," Cole adds. "I'm definitely more outgoing and goofy."

Opposite personalities looked like they'd be heading in a different direction after high school.

"Every person, every coach asked us 'are you going to play with him." Cole says?

The answer is a surprising yes.

The twins committed to Division III power Wisconsin Whitewater.

"We both like the school," Cole says. "It's a good fit. Why not?"

Ty Poorman has everyone's attention again.

"I think we're going to win a national championship. I really do."
