BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The people on board a single-engine airplane avoided injury when it crash-landed Monday in a cow pasture in South Brevard, sheriff's officials reported.

The plane had two people on board when it went down near off Centerlane Road near Grant/Valkaria, officials said. They were walking around afterward, officials said.

No cows were reported injured, and no other damages were reported.

The plane, which had a red star and ДОСААФ painted on its tail, experienced fuel problems, according to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.
