Orange County and Osceola County voters can cast their ballots from Aug. 8 to 21, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Eligible voters must present a photo and signature identification to vote. Acceptable forms of identification include a Florida driver’s license or official state identification, a U.S. passport or a military ID.
Ballot intake stations for mail ballots can only be placed at the supervisor of elections offices or early voting sites, which is a change from prior elections. Those stations are only open during early voting hours and must be monitored by an elections worker at all times.
The Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office said registered voters in the county should begin receiving sample ballots in the mail next week. In addition to showing the ballot the voter will receive when he or she votes, it will show the voter's polling place and list all 20 early-voting locations in the county.
