Loading their newest brew on the packing and conveyer belt is just one of the many tasks Brent Benishek finds himself responsible for daily, but if you ask him, he wouldn't have it any other way. He's found a love and career in all things beer at Saltwater Brewery.

However, this wasn't always his daily grind. Before coming to Saltwater Brewery, Benishek worked in IT, owning his own small business. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, like many small businesses, he unfortunately had to close up shop.

That didn't keep him down, though, and he pivoted into a whole new career. Since he knew the hiring manager and once worked as a bartender, he was hired at Saltwater Brewery, not just to pour beers, but to run day-to-day operations as manager. That job gets him behind the scenes on all the great projects the brewery is spearheading.

Six years ago, Saltwater Brewery developed its eco-friendly way of packaging its beers that is fully biodegradable and safe for all sea life — six-pack holders.

Initiatives like that truly give employees like Benishek a reason to love where he works.

Saltwater Brewery is open seven days a week, but their hours do vary.
