Caitlin Wilson joined the Spectrum News 13 team in April 2016 as a reporter covering Brevard County. Caitlin grew up on the east coast in State College, Pa. Before taking the position in Orlando, she worked for the NBC affiliate KNDO-TV in Yakima, Wash.

Caitlin graduated magna cum laud from Susquehanna University with a degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in photography. While at school, she held an array of jobs. She was the student news director at the school's radio station, WQSU 88.9 The Pulse, and assistant-produced for the school's production company, LensFlare. She also worked as a public relations and photography intern at a local art gallery. Caitlin received the Most Outstanding Student in Broadcast award from her university during her senior year.

During her junior year, Caitlin had the opportunity to spend time abroad in London, where she studied photography at Regent's University in the heart of the city. While there, she developed a passion for traveling and spent time in Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, France, Wales and Scotland.

During the summer of her junior year in college, Caitlin interned in Pittsburgh on the special projects and investigative team at WPXI-TV. She hopes to one day return to the city of steel!

When Caitlin is not in the newsroom, she enjoys traveling, singing, playing guitar and anything involving the beautiful outdoors. She’s very excited to explore her new Florida home.
