OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Expect the unexpected when you're hanging with the fun loving group of giraffes that call Wild Florida home.

What You Need To Know

Billy Rodriquez, their trainer, certainly does.

“Knowing that I get to see these guys everyday and teach people about them, it doesn't get any better than this," Rodriquez said.

Billy trains and and helps raise this small pack of giraffe's at Wild Florida, but it's hardly just the giraffes that have captured his heart. He has a special place for all the animals on their safari.

In fact Billy will take you out on to the plains, where they've expanded their drive-thru safari and now are giving guests an even more jaw dropping experience.

Driving through their safari you'll get up close to some seriously exotic animals. Billy will even hop off with you in tow, to meet and greet with the locals.

Out here on their African plains you'll get a taste of the wild side and a look into how these animals are raised and protected, teaching all who visit the beauty of conservation.

"People get to see them out here reacting with different animals they'd be with in the wild, and it's just all very cool to see." Rodriquez said.
