TITUSVILLE, Fla. – An 80-year-old woman died Saturday after a two-vehicle crash in Titusville.

The crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Hopkins Avenue and Garden Street, according to police.

The woman, who was driving a Cadillac sedan westbound on Garden Street, struck a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was traveling southbound on Hopkins Avenue, police said.

The woman, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. She was pronounced dead at 5:30 p.m., police said.

The driver of the Jeep Grand Cherokee was also taken to a hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
