ORLANDO, Fla.  Morning fog will greet you stepping out the door early today and in the coming days, but get ready for a stretch of warm weather.

Temperatures during the morning hours and in the afternoon are going to be warmer than average.  Temperatures will only be dropping into the 60s with afternoon highs reaching the middle 80s for most of the upcoming week.

Today will feature a partly cloudy sky after morning fog. Temperatures will reach the middle to upper 70s for most. Temperatures then warm into the low to mid-80s for tomorrow afternoon.

The weekend will be dry. 

Rain chances will return on President’s Day. The rain chances will be low and we are only expecting a 20 percent coverage rain. Winds out of the south will help draw in some moisture and spark a few showers for the start of the week.

The low rain chances will continue for most of the upcoming week. Afternoon highs will be in the low to mid-80s through next weekend with morning temperatures in the middle to upper 60s.

Normal highs this time of the year are in the middle 70s with average low temperatures in the low to mid-50s.

SURF FORECAST

The winds will be out of the west/southwest this afternoon at 5 to 10 knots. Seas will be 2 to 3 feet with a light chop on the intracoastal.

Surfing conditions will be fair to start then poor to fair later today. Wave heights will be 2 to 3 plus feet with an east/east-southeast swell. Ocean temperatures range from the upper 50s across our northern beaches with areas farther south feeling water temperatures in the low to mid-60s. The rip current risk is low for today.
