It would be the largest state budget in Florida history, a $96 billion dollar spending plan is being rolled out by Governor Ron DeSantis. He says Florida fared better than expected through the pandemic - and that spending cuts and tax hikes are not necessary.

So, where does the state really stand?  As the state legislators work through committee weeks and get ready for the opening of the 2021 legislative session – where are their priorities?  Where do they stand on budgeting, coronavirus vaccinations and the pandemic as a whole? There are also questions still surround unemployment in Florida and legislation surrounding protests and demonstrations.
