ORANGE COUNTY, Fla., — An early morning shooting at an Orange County nightclub has left a security officer and three other people with injuries, according to authorities.

The shooting happened at around 12:08 a.m., Friday, at the Le Palace nightclub in Orlando, stated Lt. Collington Campbell, the watch commander for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
A 30-year-old male security officer was in the nightclub’s parking lot when an unknown armed person shot at him and sheriff’s deputies, stated Campbell in a press release.
The security officer was shot and was taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center for non-life-threatening wounds, confirmed Campbell, who added the deputies were not injured.
The suspect fled the nightclub parking lot in a vehicle. Campbell did not release any information about the description of the suspect or the vehicle.
While at the nightclub that is located on 5526 S Orange Blossom Trail, three victims approached deputies with gunshot wounds and they were taken to ORMC for non-life-threatening wounds, Campbell said, who added that they are in stable condition.
No description was given about the victims.
