LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — As part of ongoing changes to its theme park reservation policy, Disney World has revealed the first round of what it calls “Good-to-Go” days for annual passholders—select dates when reservations will not be needed.

What You Need To Know

  • Good-to-Go Days have started to appear on the theme park reservation calendar

  • On those days, passholders won't need a park reservation to visit any of the four theme parks

  • The first Good-to-Go Day is Jan. 16; Disney will add dates periodically

The first set of reservation-free dates—which started to appear on the admission calendar in the My Disney Experience app on Thursday— include Jan. 16, 18, 23, 24, and 28; and Feb. 1. Most of the days are during the week, with Jan. 28 being the only weekend date.

Good-to-Go days apply to all four parks, but passholders should know that blockout dates still apply.

Disney previously said that Good-to-Go days will be added periodically to the calendar “days or weeks” in advance.

On all other days, passholders will still need to make a reservation for the park they want to visit, or they can go to a park without a reservation after 2 p.m. unless they are visiting Magic Kingdom on a Saturday or Sunday.

Another change Disney made this week was bringing back all-day park hopping. Previously, passholders and visitors with the Park Hopper option on their tickets had to wait until 2 p.m. before they could “hop” to another park. Now, they can move park-to-park any time in the day.

On days that reservations are required, passholders must first visit the park they made a reservation for before going to the next one.

The recent changes are just some examples of Disney reversing some of the policies it implemented during the pandemic.
