The ship will feature tons of activities and entertainment for both adults and kids, including two new Broadway-style theater productions.

The two shows — Disney Seas the Adventure and Disney The Little Mermaid — will be performed in the ship's Walt Disney Theatre.

For the media sailing last week, Disney offered previews of both shows.

Seas the Adventure gives Goofy the starring role. While mopping the deck, he reveals to Captain Minnie that he's always wanted to be a captain. Minnie helps make his wish come true by giving him a moment to helm the ship. What follows is a comedic and musical adventure that finds Goofy interacting with other Disney characters such Moana, Merida and Hercules.

The show is a little shorter than the ship's other main stage shows since it's performed on the first night.

The ship's headliner show "The Little Mermaid" is a new twist on the classic Disney animated film.

"I came up with a thematic concept which is we're going to literally and figuratively unearth this beloved treasured tale, crack open that treasure chest and see what's inside, and have a group of storytellers tell us the story," said show writer Sara Wordsworth.

For the preview, the media was only shown a handful of scenes, including the show's take on "Under the Sea." One noticeable change was to the lyrics. The line, "out in the sun they slave away," was changed to "out in the sun they sweat away."

The show uses real actors along with puppets (operated by real actors) for characters such as Sebastian, Flounder and Scuttle. The theater is equipped to utilize projection mapping and other special effects to give audiences the feeling surrounded by the story happening on the stage.

A third show, Aladdin-A Musical Spectacular, will also be part of the Disney Wish lineup. A version of that show is also offered on the Disney Fantasy.

The first public sailing for the Disney Wish is scheduled for July 14.
