ORLANDO, Fla. — WonderWorks Orlando will host a special "Sensory Day" later this month.

  • WonderWorks to host "Sensory Day"
  • November 17 exhibits will be modified
  • Tickets to the event are $10 per person

For the event on November 17, exhibits at the International Drive attraction will be modified to make visitors with special needs more comfortable.

WonderWorks will lower music through the facility, turn off exhibits that are considered loud, and alter exhibits to provide limited stimulation.

"WonderWorks is normally quite a sensory overload, se we are delighted to host these limited stimulation days for those with special needs," general manager Brian Wayne said in a news release. "It creates an environment to enjoy the facility without feeling overwhelmed."

Tickets to the event are $10 per person.
