COCOA BEACH, FL – Hundreds of people in Cocoa Beach got a warm Thanksgiving meal for an annual community feast.

The Pointe Church hosted the gathering, and roughly 100 volunteers prepared and served meals to around 500 people, said Pastor Derek Howell.

Anyone was welcome to attend, whether they sought food or company. 

“There’s so many people that don’t have family or they just don’t have a way to feed themselves, so it’s our opportunity just to feed and serve our community,” Howell said.
