DEBARY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Transportation stated on Monday that the repairs to the sinkhole in DeBary may begin on Tuesday.
It opened up Friday along U.S. 17-92 near Debary Plantation Boulevard and got bigger and deeper over the weekend.
It is not yet clear how long the road will remain closed, but it is expected to be closed through the week.
The repairs were expected to begin on Monday, but FDOT crews are accessing the extent of the damage.
