We had mostly cloudy skies for the afternoon, but highs were still able to climb into the mid to low 80s for most. Low pressure in the Gulf is kicking a lot of moisture in our direction. We only had a few spotty showers Sunday afternoon, but rain will become widespread overnight and into Monday.

Heavy rain stayed south of Central Florida Sunday afternoon, but will move north overnight. Widespread rain and even a few storms will be possible as we head toward daybreak Monday. Cloudy skies will stick around as temperatures only fall to around 70 degrees.

It’s going to be a gloomy start to our work week with showers likely throughout the day. There may even be a few rumbles of thunder with low pressure over the Gulf keeping things unsettled.

This low will slowly move north over the next couple of days. There is a chance that this low could take on tropical characteristics. Regardless, we're looking at a wet weather pattern with rain likely for several days.

Highs will stay around 80 degrees with lows around 70 degrees.
