Roger Trindade died of a brain hemorrhage caused by a probable artery tear in his neck after he was hit in the head, an autopsy found.

The autopsy was performed Oct. 19, 2016, two days after the 15-year-old boy died after being taken off life support.

According to the District 9 Medical Examiner's Office autopsy report released Friday, the Winter Park High School teen suffered a blunt force head injury. Winter Park Police investigators have said Trindade got into a fight with several teens in a park the night of Saturday, Oct. 15.

The Medical Examiner's Office ruled the death a homicide.

Three teens were charged in the Trindade's death. They are scheduled to be back in court at the end of the month. As part of our crime guidelines, we are not identifying them because they are minors.

Several of Trindade's organs were harvested for donation, including his heart, spleen and kidneys, the autopsy report said.
