Volusia Sheriff's deputies have identified two persons of interest in the fatal shooting on South Florida Avenue in DeLand Wednesday night.

Investigators issued a search warrant in the 900 block of South Florida Avenue on Thursday. One man is being interviewed about the shooting that allegedly happened around 8:30 p.m. A second man was arrested on unrelated charges, says deputies.
Sheriff Mike Chitwood said in a news release that they aren't naming the men since the investigation is active.
The shooting was reported when nearby residents heard gunshots. The victim was reportedly found lying on the road.
He was airlifted but pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
VCSO said the victim will not be identified until his family is notified.
