Police are investigating a suspicious death in Brevard County after a woman's body was found on the side of the road in a Cocoa Beach neighborhood Thursday morning.
Investigators said the body was discovered just before 7 a.m. in front of a home on Rose Drive, off South Second Street just west of State Road A1A and south of Minutemen Causeway.
The victim was not immediately identified, but Cocoa Beach police said it was a woman who appeared to be in her 20s.
Police said they are treating their investigation as a suspicious death, though there was no immediate indication of any injuries.
