  • Uncrewed Orion capsule mission is the precursor to sending people back to the moon

The uncrewed Orion capsule mission is the precursor to sending people back to the moon for the first time in fifty years.

NASA says the two possible launch windows for Artemis 1 are between April 8th and 23rd, and between May 7th and 21st.

Liftoff will happen at historic Pad 39B at Kennedy Space Center.

It's more time for the anticipation of those coming to the Space Coast to watch the historic launch and for businesses ready to cash in on the large crowds.

It's down to the wire for the opening of the brand new Dolphins Waterfront Bar and Grill in Cape Crossing Resort and Marina in Merritt Island.

With the restaurant set to open in just weeks, the timing is good for attracting crowds coming to see the historic launch.

General Manager Brian Ahern's plan to set up shop sooner with a restaurant built from scratch hit snags over the past couple years during the pandemic.

But now Dolphins will be a prime spot to watch all the action.

"We got a clear view right up the river, just a few miles from the space center and NASA," Ahern say.
