Everyone has a story. It's these stories, the ones from real people about real issues, that turn the big picture into a reality. This lesson remained with Bailey Myers, even after leaving her beautiful hometown of DeBary. Growing up in between the big city and a small town, she realized that everyone has something to say — regardless of where they live. That's why she was thrilled to come back to Central Florida.

Bailey joined Spectrum News 13 in April 2014. She is excited to learn more about the stories the people of Central Florida have to tell. Bailey looks forward to exploring her new home and all it has to offer.

She began her career at WCJB in Gainesville while attending the University of Florida (Go Gators!) Bailey then quickly moved to 'Nole territory in Tallahassee following graduation and fell in love with the city and the people living in the capital city while working at WCTV. During her time in North Central Florida and the Panhandle, Bailey learned no story is too small or too insignificant, and encourages anyone with a story to contact her at bailey.myers@charter.com.

On her off time, Bailey enjoys hiking, biking and swimming. She looks forward to exploring all the local parks, rivers and lakes. Bailey also loves to cook and bake, so if you ever have a neat recipe she should try out, send it her way!
