Former UCF guard Matt Williams has been added to the Miami Heat's Summer League roster.

The Heat will play Summer League games in both Orlando and Las Vegas. Williams, who played at Jones High School, averaged 15.1 ppg and 4.3 rpg last season for the Knights.

Williams, the Knights all-time record-holder for 3-PT FG made, was ranked second in the nation in 3-point FG shooting last season, averaging 3.5 per game.


The Jones High School product left UCF as the program’s all-time leader in threes made in a game (11), a season (126) and a career (274). His 126 triple in 2016-17 were the second most in the entire nation.

Williams was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll four times.

Miami will first play in the Orlando Summer League July 1-6 at the Amway Center and in Las Vegas July 7-17 with games at Cox Pavilion and the Thomas and Mack Center.
