It was a cold Tuesday with low temperatures in the 40s and highs for the afternoon only in the 50s for most.

We were covered by a blanket of clouds all day with a few showers moving inland from the Atlantic.

Winds have also been strong, making it feel even colder. This will be the case again for our Wednesday with higher rain chances.

Cloudy skies will continue through the overnight hours with the chance for showers increasing as we head toward daybreak.

Temperatures will be cold, falling back down into the 40s. Breezy winds will make it feel 5 to 10 degrees colder than the actual temperature.

You’ll be greeted Wednesday morning to clouds, rain, and strong winds. An area of low pressure moving over the state will keep conditions gloomy and cold for another day.

No snow is expected, however, with temperatures staying above freezing. The panhandle and the Big Bend area does have a chance for flurries and freezing rain if you’re traveling north.

Highs will only climb to around 50 degrees Wednesday and that’s where we’ll stay the rest of the work week with lows in the mid to low 30s. We’re warming back up this weekend.

This will be the case again for our Wednesday with higher rain chances.

Ocean conditions will be rough the next few days with strong winds high waves. A Small Craft Advisory has been issued.
