Here's the Central Florida weather forecast for the rest of the workweek:

  • Overnight lows in the 50s and 60s
  • Breezy and dry conditions again Thursday
  • Rain-free conditions in the 7-day forecast
  • SEE BELOW: See our 7-day forecast

We watched light showers persist across southern Florida Wednesday, and although great for drought conditions down that way, we could definitely use any rain we can get across our area. An isolated sprinkle or light shower is possible in Brevard County overnight, with a clear to partly cloudy and mild night for the rest of central Florida.

Lows stay on the mild side, with 50s in Marion County and low 60s elsewhere. High pressure continues to dominate our weather pattern heading into the Easter holiday weekend, with a breeze kicking up to around 20 to 25 mph the next few days.

Combined with dry conditions, the fire danger is set to stay high. Overall, we’re keeping the entire 7 day forecast rain free, with temperatures warming close to seasonable in the low 80s tomorrow, and a few degrees above average in the mid-80s from Friday right through next week.

Not much change in our surfing forecast Thursday, with an easterly windswell, swell mix creating poor to fair surfing conditions. Wave heights will be about the same as well, around three to four feet. Although a moderate rip current risk takes us along most of the coast, Volusia County may fly red and purple flags for rough surf and man-o-war. Sea surface temps are in the low 70s.
