Ocala man killed in motorcycle crash on CR 200

An Ocala man was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday night in Marion County. 

The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. at CR 200 and NW 44th Street in Ocala. 

Troopers said a Harley Davidson was traveling northbound on CR 200 in front of a Chevrolet Blazer, when the driver of the Harley made an evasive action within the roadway, causing the SUV to hit the motorcycle. 

The motorcyclist, Jack Reid, 64, was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center where he died from his injuries. 

The driver of the Blazer was not injured in the crash. 

The crash remains under investigation.
