Port Orange police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred on the 6800 block of Taylor Road on Thursday.

Port Orange Traffic Homicide Investigators responded to the incident around 11:47 a.m.
The driver and only passenger in the vehicle -- Summer Ferreira, 18 -- succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash, according to a POPD news release.
