Cooler air is moving into Central Florida for the end of the workweek. Here's a look at the forecast:

  • Fog possible overnight
  • Highs in the 70s Thursday afternoon
  • Even cooler Friday
  • SEE BELOW: See our 7-day forecast

We will have fewer clouds overnight but there is going to be more fog forming with some spots having dense fog by Thursday morning.

The cold front coming in means temperatures will be falling into the middle 50s then rise into the middle 70s Thursday afternoon.  Friday will be much cooler with highs in the low to middle 60s.

Since we already have somewhat dryer air in place, there is little moisture for this next front to work with so we will only have about a 20 percent chance for isolated showers Thursday and Friday.  Once the front clears to our south, wind will increase and become gusty late Friday into Saturday drawing in more dry air.

Highs Friday will only top out in the 60s with lows dipping into the 40s Saturday morning. Sunday we will warm above normal again but it should be a nice one.  Highs Sunday will be back in the middle 70s.

Thursday’s surf conditions are forecast to be poor to fair with wave heights running 1 to 2 feet.  Water temperatures are near 70 with a low rip current risk.
