Happy Friday! Here's the Central Florida weather forecast for today and the upcoming weekend:

Overnight will remain mostly cloudy as temperatures fall into the mid 60s.

Wind will be relaxing only to increase between 15-20 mph Saturday afternoon and gusting 25-30 mph at times. An isolated fast-moving light rain shower or sprinkle is possible along the coast.

Our final October weekend will remain warm as a dome of high pressure continues to send us wind off the ocean. Wind will be gusty again Saturday, getting up between 25-30 mph at times, especially along our eastern shores. Temperatures will continue to be above normal by several degrees with lows in the mid 60s and highs in the mid 80s.

Wind is not anticipated to be quite as strong Sunday with high pressure slowly weakening, but high pressure will build back early next week and increase our wind again by Tuesday.

Only isolated, fast-moving light rain or sprinkles will be possible close to the coast. Otherwise, it will remain quite dry for the next several days.

No tropical formation is expected this weekend.

Wave heights are forecast to be in the 3-5 feet range Saturday with surf conditions still considered poor. Rip current threat will be moderate to high with the UV index a 6 on the 1 to 12 scale. Wind will still be out of the east and gust 20-30 mph at times.
