Deputies have identified the man who was killed Saturday night in a crash on the race track at Orlando Speed World.

Deputies were called around 10 p.m. Saturday to the race track, located on East Colonial Drive near Bithlo.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said the driver, Chad Padget who turned 41 on Friday, lost control, bounced off one wall, hit another wall and then flipped over.

Track officials say he was going about 140 miles per hour.

Padget was taken to Florida Hospital East where he was pronounced dead.
