An Orange County mother has been arrested after police said she left her young children in an SUV outside a bar while she was inside drinking.

April King was arrested Sunday at Froggers Grill and Bar, in Apopka, after an employee called police.

When officers arrived, they said they found King standing next to the SUV in the parking lot. Her children, ages 2 and 4, were inside the vehicle, where witnesses told police she left them while she was inside the bar.

King denied being in the bar, but Apopka police said King tried and failed to start her SUV by blowing into a device to test her blood-alcohol level, which was installed after previous DUI arrests.

Police said King's 4-year-old then blew into the device, and the vehicle started.

Officers hauled King off to jail on charges of child neglect.
