The Orlando Police Department says it will now be able to keep a better eye on an area of the city.

The agency recently installed eight more IRIS cameras in the Parramore neighborhood. There are now more than 170 cameras located throughout the city in areas including Parramore, Lake Eola, downtown, Semoran Boulevard, MetroWest and International Drive.

Crime is down 36 percent in the Parramore neighborhood since 2005, according to Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.
