A search warrant that was served around 3:45 p.m. by the Orange County sheriff's office. They said they were acting on an anonymous tip called in two months ago. Ten people were detained but only five were arrested.

Deputies also confiscated two semi-automatic handguns (one stolen), 60 grams of meth, 152 grams of cannabis and 37 grams of cocaine.

The home is located on Baywood Avenue, off Hiawassee Road north of State Road 50. The county property appraiser's website shows the home is owned by Hill. Her attorney confirmed this, but said she rents the home out and doesn't live there.

"We believe that, we have in our possession drugs that were found in the house, multiple firearms as well," said sheriff's office spokesman Jeff Williamson. "We've got about half a dozen people or so detained. We do not know who is involved with what at this particular point in time, but all that will be fleshed out once the investigators have completed their investigation."

Hill herself has not commented on the incident yet. Her attorney issued this statement.

The Commissioner is both shocked and saddened by the events that occurred yesterday at the house she owns on Baywood Avenue. As this is news to her, she has no comments on the matter at this time due to not knowing all the facts. The Commissioner asks that the media is respectful of her family, as she deals with matters that involve her son. Although her son is an adult, like any mother or citizen, she is concerned.

One man said he was one of those people detained, but that he was just walking near the home at the time. He claims he was cuffed and detained for about five hours and later let go.

“I got two forms of legal ID on me," said Parris Jackson. "I’ve never been to jail, not a convicted felon, no criminal background whatsoever and I got treated like a convict today.”

But one person who lives nearby said it’s about time deputies got involved.

“I don’t know what has been going on there, but there has been a lot of traffic and activity,” said Paul Cody.
