Here's what you need to know about Central Florida's weather for Wednesday and the rest of the week:
- High pressure will dump in dry air Wednesday
- Slightly less muggy, highs around 90 degrees with plenty of sunshine
- Use caution at the beach with rip current risk, poor boating conditions
High pressure stacked out near Bermuda will continue to push a big area of dry air toward Central Florida tonight and into Wednesday. We'll clear out our sky overnight and enjoy a Wednesday full of sunshine. Although temperatures will be hot once again, our dew point will come down a bit, which means a slightly less muggy feel to the air. Highs are expected to remain either side of 90 through our seven-day stretch ahead.
More sunshine (and no rain) is in the forecast for Thursday, with rain chances back up to 20 percent on Friday. We stir the atmosphere up a bit heading into the weekend, bringing moisture back into our picture and increasing thunderstorm chances.
Right now, we have a 30 percent storm chance from Saturday through next Tuesday, but model trends could have us bringing that up to 40 percent by Sunday and Monday. No real signal of our thunderstorm season just yet.
