Police said they are trying to find whoever shot three men early Thursday morning in Orlando's Parramore neighborhood.

The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. outside an apartment complex at the intersection of Cypress Street and Woods Avenue, just a block east of Orange Blossom Trail near Jones High School.

Police blocked off a block of the neighborhood along Woods Avenue, from Cypress Street to Conley Street to the north. Investigators were seen looking through the front yard of a home for clues.

The three men, all in the 30s and 40s, were taken to a nearby hospital. Two of the victims had serious injuries, police said.

Concerned neighbors said they heard gunshots and yelling early Thursday.

Police said they did not immediately have any information on a suspect or suspects.

"It appears that these three were outside. We don't know the specifics. Investigators are going to have to follow up," said Orlando police Lt. Jim Young. "They're hoping that someone saw this knows what happened and can call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS."

Police towed away a black car from the scene and took it into evidence. Investigators did not immediately say how the car was connected.

The shooting scene is a busy area of Parramore; Mount Olive Church and the John H. Jackson Community Center are just around the corner.
