Severe weather led to damage in at least two Central Florida counties Monday.

The National Weather Service reports four to five homes were damaged in the Palm Cay subdivision off of State Road 200 south of Ocala. The homes were damaged by downed trees and winds.

In Flagler County there were also several reports of downed trees and power lines as they dealt with high wind gusts.

In the meantime, clouds will linger for much of the overnight, gradually thinning out by daybreak. Lows will fall to the upper-60s to near 70 degrees. Patchy areas of fog are possible.

The front will push to our south on Tuesday, but it will still be close enough to keep a rain chance around for the afternoon. Skies will be partly sunny, but scattered showers and storms will redevelop in the afternoon, especially south of I-4. Highs will be a touch lower than recent days, in the low- to mid-80s.

The remainder of the workweek holds more above-average highs in the mid- to upper-80s. Lows will consistently hover around 70 degrees. Coverage of afternoon showers and storms will become more isolated in nature by Wednesday, but they will still be present in the forecast through the weekend.
