A boil water notice was issued Friday evening for residents in a Seminole County neighborhood.
Winter Springs police advised residents in the Greens at Tuscawilla subdivision and the Tuscawilla Country Club to boil water for the next 72 hours as of 9:40 p.m.
Police initially issued a 2-hour boil water notice at 8:50 p.m. because of a back flow pipe issue.
Water service was later restored, but the boil water notice was extended for 72 hours, or 3 full, 24-hour days.
The cause of the back flow pipe issue was not released.
