Police in Brevard County are searching for the driver of a car involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash Thursday night that killed a motorcyclist.

Investigators from the Titusville Police Department say witnesses spotted a sedan exiting Kennedy Point Park around 8 p.m. when it entered the north bound lanes of US 1. That's when witnesses say the sedan hit the motorcycle and then sped off, leaving the scene.

Titusville police have identified the motorcycle driver as 56-year-old Ralston Wade Wells of Brevard County. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say based on evidence on the scene, the sedan involved is believed to be silver with damage to the driver side of the vehicle.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Investigator Brian Nelson, of the Titusville Police Department, at 321-567-3965.
